Unlike solar farms we use batteries as the main source of power to the large inverters. The panels only charge the batteries. This area of India does not turn off the power in the day or night. We are finding that because of the old design of the grid in most places of the world the grid is failing. Dominican Republic is a very good example. I liked what you did for estimating a off the grid solar system but you might be missing the losses and I know from experience people once they know electric power is free they never turn things off. Also since there are 720 hours a month we use that to figure out the KW per hour.
I am trying to build a PV system including an inverter/charge controller which combines charging the batteries from available source (AC mains if not the PV when possible) and delivering AC output to the selected load in case of mains cut out.Energy is a more general and comprehensive parameter related to both power and the time this power is in use. Either power or its usage time can affect the final consumed energy and this is what a PV system shall be designed for, with uncertain and variable power over a variable time. For guaranteed instant enough power in an off-grid system you shall have batteries and in on-grid system there is no guarantee as it depends on irradiation level. When you have plenty of sunshine with almost no variation, and people fed-up with batteries problems they don't want to hear about the Energy philosophy.
MPPT conventionally are located in Inverter that is supposed to track each PV module from an array parallel connected series strings. PP point of all panels are not /cannot be same. Therefore such tracking fails to harvest full power loss could be as high as 15%. Further this demands that all modules have matched MPPT. Further placing MPPT in each module prevented shadow loss in series strings where shadow on one module reduces energy harvest from the entire string of 20 modules or more.. LEECH HV PV modules also boost peak power voltage to voltage as high as 430VDC. That drops ohmic losses and reduces cable costs since module output current drops from 10A to an amp...conversion efficiency is also over 98% peak. All parallel Rooftop Arrays are an advancement that leads to higher energy yields.

On a bright day 1kW Solar plant will gather minimum 4kWH of energy. This energy has to be stored in a battery of equivalent energy capacity. For instance one would need 24V/200AH battery. This energy collected in one day will support 500W load for 8 hours.
Now for adding the cost of wire and the higher cost added to the total system using micro inverters. This type of thinking may be great if you are producing micro inverters. But again micro inverters add cost to the entire system. Is this really a good solution to promote and install solar photovoltaic systems? Total DC systems are not a good solution to change to 100% because of the added cost of a system. Homes and all businesses need polly phase. Micro inverters just can not do this function. Also micro inverters do not adjust to the electric loads of a home or business. I have seen so many installs of solar PV inverter systems that can not handle peaking of a electric motor. Yet all of our systems not only allow a home or business owner, "A no fault peaking of electric motors system".
There are far more benefits. 1) no bypass diodes, saving their cost and the silver in the home runs; 2) can use Grade B cells, which are just as efficient but lower cost, 3) can build a high internal voltage, low internal current panel, thus can connect cells with aluminum instead of silver (too much to explain here, but a quarter cell puts out slightly more power than 25% of a full cell), 4) and as mentioned, the ability to mix headings and each panel is at it max in a single inverter; the string is not degraded. Read the while paper at the web site. The prototype panels were made with 100% quarter Calisolar Grade B rejected cells and outperformed a standard panel, and verified that a partially shaded cell gets *cooler*, not hotter, due to no reverse conduction.
